[HIC] Kite Festival - March 2, 2024

Assalamualaikum Dear Community Members

This City of Huntsville's annualKiteFestivalwill be held onMarch 2nd, Saturday, from 11 AM - 3 PM at John Hunt Park (flyer attached).

As we do every year, HIC will be sponsoring a section of the Hospitality Room at the event and need volunteers to assist us. If you're interested in helping out, please email Br. Idrees Leslie at:[email protected]

We will also be setting up two separate display tables at the festival - one to showcase Islam and our community where we will distribute Islamic pamphlets, write names of people in Arabic, do henna, and more. We will also have another table to display our solidarity with the people of Palestine. To lend a hand at either of these tables, please email Sr. Hibah at:
