Assalaamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,

InshaAllah, we will be having a Family Fun Day on July 13th, from 1 - 6.30 PM (hosted by the HIC Youth Group). There are plenty of fun-filled activities and events planned for the day including a bake-off challenge, carnival games, dunk tank (with Br. Zubair), chicken wing challenge, water play, etc. We will also have hotdogs/hamburgers available for purchase and a lemonade stand (run by our mini-youth!).

  • Remember to bring your water guns and wear appropriateclothing!
  • InshaAllah, Br. Zubair will do the Juma'a Khutbah on July 12th; College Late Night will be after Isha prayers.

HIC Family Fun Day Agenda

The program will be from Dhuhr to Maghrib (1 - 6.30 PM)

  • Setup at 11 AM
  • Dhuhr at 1 PM
  • Br. Zubair's Family Halaqa/Trivia from 1.30 - 2.30 PM with prizes for winners!
  • Bake OffChallenge from 2.30 - 3.30 PM; first-place winners will also be awarded a prize!
  • Hot Wing Eating Contest from 3.30 - 4.30 PM; winner will be awarded all the entry fee cash!
  • Outdoor activities will be from 2:30-6:30pm

Food for Purchase

  • We will have hamburgers/hotdogs for purchase for $10; your meal will also include chips, a water bottle, and a popsicle!
  • Lemonade will be on sale for $2; fruit add-ins will be an additional dollar.
  • Money raised from this will be donated to our masjid youth groups so please show your support!
