[HIC] Update on E-Voting

As Salaamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,

One final note on electronic (text/email) voting — an sms/email notification will be sent to you once the election becomes active. This will happen after floor nominations have been collected and discussions on amendments/bylaws have taken place; therefore, we cannot guarantee a precise start time for remote e-voters.

Keep in mind that once the election becomes active, evoters will be allotted a certain amount of time to submit their ballot (we estimate this to be about 20 mins - the approximate time it takes for the HIC Board’s annual report). A reminder to submit your ballot will be sent midway through the process.
