[HIC] Resident Scholar Candidate Visit - Feb 14 & 15

InshaAllah, we will have Shaykh Yasir Usmani,visitingus on February 14 & 15. Shaykh Usmani is being scouted for the Resident Scholar position at HIC (resume attached for reference).
Shaykh Usmani Bio:
Shaykh Yasir Usmani is a distinguished Islamic scholar with a Masters in Shariah and Hadith. Born and raised in Makkah, he memorized the Quran there and later pursued higher education in Saudi Arabia & USA, studying both secular and Islamic sciences. After becoming a hafidh, he undertook an intensivethree-year program in Fiqh, Aqeedah, and Tafsir graduating at the top of his class in Pakistan.With over a decade of experience, he has served as an imam in Alabama, Texas, and Louisiana. He has also completed training and earned certifications in mental health, dyslexia education, social media development, and more.Fluent in Arabic, English, and Urdu, he is widely respected for his scholarship, serves on advisory boards, and is a member of severalprominent Islamic organizations.
The agenda for the weekend (February 14/15) will be as follows; please make plans to attend:
- Friday Jummah Khutbah
- Friday NightTea/Snacksfollowed by Community Night (Halaqa + Q/A Session) - 7 PM
- SaturdaySisters Session - 1 PM
- Saturday YouthSession after Maghreb(5.30 PM; 8th Grade and Up)
- Sunday - New Muslims Class - 12 PM
