[HIC] Ramadan 2025 - Taraweeh Prayers and Iftar Schedule

Assalamualaikum Dear Community Members,

With Ramadan soon approaching, we wanted to reach out and share some key information on taraweeh prayers and community iftars forplanning purposes. All other information will be shared closer to the start date, inshaAllah!

Qari Khaled Hersyfrom Atlanta will join HIC to lead taraweeh prayers in Ramadan. We will follow the same schedule for a khatam and qiyaam as we always have.

This year, weekday iftars (Monday to Friday) will only be for students, new Muslims, travelers, etc. (approximately 70 people). Community members wishing to sponsor a weekday day can any use the form linked below to sign up. All food will be prepared by local Muslim restaurants/catering businesses; sponsors are only asked to make a monetarycontribution. Dates/water will be provided by HIC.

Please note that you do not need to cover the cost of an entire weekday iftar if you are unable to do so; however, we do request a minimum contribution of $100.

Weekend Iftars (Saturday/Sunday) are open to thewhole community (approximately 300 people). Please reach out to Sr. Hibah at 256 652 7615 if you would like to sponsor a weekend community iftar. As of right now, all Saturdays and one Sunday have been covered. If the open Sundays remain unsponsored, they will be treated as weekday iftars.
