[HIC] Oct. 15th Deadline to Submit Nominations/Amendments

Assalamualaikum Dear Community Members, 

This is just a friendly reminder that October 15th (Tuesday) is the last day to submit your nominations/resolutions for the HIC General Assembly and Elections (to be held on Nov. 2nd inshaAllah). 

Please note that the following four positions are open for re-election this year:

1. President
2. Secretary of Social Affairs
3. Secretary of Masjid Affairs
4. Treasurer

If you wish to serve on the board in any of the above-mentioned positions or know of someone who would be a good candidate, please fill out the attached nomination form and submit it in-person to any board member or email it to the following address: [email protected]  

Community members are also invited to submit any amendments to the by-laws and resolutions. These will be voted on during the General Assembly meeting. 

Once we have a list of nominees, a meeting will be held on a later date to allow community members to get to know the candidates and review proposed amendments. Details will be sent out in a separate email. 

We'd like to encourage the community to come forward and participate in this process. As always, please feel free to get in touch with any questions or concerns.
