We are excited to announce some important upcoming events for those interested in participating in MIST (Muslim Interscholastic Tournament) in Nashville, TN this year!
Halaqa with Br. Zubair - February 7th (Friday):
InshaAllah, we will have a halaqa withBr. ZubaironFebruary 7th after Isha at HIC. The topic of the halaqa will be centered around theMIST theme -****"A Legacy of Learning: Turning Knowledge into Action." You can find more information about it onhttps://www.getmistified.com/theme. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the theme before diving into the competition.
MIST Interest Meeting - February 8th (Saturday):
The MIST Nashville Board will be hosting an interest meeting onFebruary 8th at 6 p.m. Whether you're new to MIST or looking to get more involved this year, this is a great opportunity to learn about the competition, meet other participants, and ask any questions you may have.
Who Can Attend:
Everyone is encouraged to attend the halaqa and parents/competitors/those interested in competing are welcome to join the interest meeting. It's a great chance to connect with fellow competitors, get clarity on the competition format, and explore the theme.
To participate in MIST as a competitor you must be in highschool, Grades 9 through 12. If you are 13 and/or in the 8th grade you may submit an essay to MIST Nashville requesting an acceptance for participation. Parents, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding this matter.
All questions can be directed to our coaches regarding all things MIST.
