[HIC] HIC Candidate Visit - May 30/31
AssalamualaikumDear Community Members,
InshaAllah, we will have potential candidate Shaykh Yaseen Palwala,visitingus on May 30 & 31 (resume attached for reference).
Shaykh Yaseen Bio:
Furthermore, he pursued his passion in mental health care & counseling, from the national council for mental well being & is currently building his passion in natural medicinal aromatherapy.
For the past 15 years, Shaikh Yaseen has dedicated himself to serving the Montreal & Chicago (Al Fatiha & various other) communities. In addition to his roles as an Imam and counselor, he has served as a hif teacher, high school instructor, chaplain, and leader of interfaith groups and civic coalitions.
Shaikh Yaseen is also the founder of Al Fatiha Institute & AbuOud, a space committed to creating social-spiritual experiences for young professionals and families.
The agenda for the weekend will be as follows; please make plans to attend:
- Friday Jummah Khutbah
- Friday NightTea/Snacksfollowed by Community Night (Halaqa + Q/A Session) - 7.30 PM
- Saturday Reverts Session - 12 PM
- SaturdaySisters Session - 1 PM
- Saturday YouthSessionat Maghreb(7.30 PM; 8th Grade and Up)
