[HIC] HIC - Weather Alert for March 15

Assalamualaikum Dear Community Members, 

As you are well aware, Alabama is under a state of emergency due to the very severe weather conditions expected tonight. 

Keeping in mind the real possibility of strong tornadoes and damaging storms, Maghreb and Isha prayers will be combined at HIC this evening. A decision regarding taraweeh prayers will be sent out later. 

Community members are encouraged to assess their own safety when deciding whether to attend tonights iftar.  

Be aware that the following areas are considered safe spots: men and womens bathrooms located in the gym and any of the interior hallways (away from windows and outdoor walls); please note that these areas are limited in their capacity to hold people. 

Again, we highly urge you to be weather aware and prioritize your safety first!
