What: Embark on a weekly book study of The Life of the Prophet Muhammad by Leila Azzam & Aisha Gouverneur to learn the chronology of the life of the Prophet . This useful introduction to the Seerah draws on traditional Islamic biographical literature, including Hadith, and uses passages from the Qur'an throughout to reinforce the stories.

What: Find support and sisterhood with new Muslim sisters in a safe and welcoming judgment-free space. Those interested in Islam are also welcome!
This month's special social gathering is for new Muslim sisters to share their journey with prayer. Connect with others as we discuss personal experiences and exchange tips and advice on learning to pray effectively. We will also have some prayer mats and clothing available for those who need them. This is a welcoming space to deepen your understanding and strengthen your practice. Come share your story and gain new insights!
We are excited to host a cultural community potluck to celebrate the relaunching of our bookstore!
We would love to have you and your family join us on November 22, 2024, from 6:30 to 9:30PM. Dinner will be at 6:30 pm and desserts for sharing at 8pm inshallah, filled with games and free giveaways in between.
Please sign up below and let us know what food item you will bring! The item can be homemade or ordered. Also, please make a sign that will be placed next to your food with the name of the meal and its ingredients. We are happy to have vegetarian items as well! We will have a table separate for vegetarian and non-nut items.

Al-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyya: Also known as The Shama'il, this book is a collection of hadiths that describe the Prophet Muhammad's life, including his physical appearance, manners, and belongings. The book was compiled by the 9th-century scholar Imam al-Tirmidhi. Some say that understanding the Shama'il is a prerequisite to understanding Islam and the Prophet's life.
Al-Khasa'is al-Muhammadiyya: This book is about the Prophet Muhammad's beauty and perfection.
