Gratitude and Du’as for Shaykh Abd Ar-Rafaa as He Begins Sabbatical

We pray this message finds you well and in the best of Imaan.

We would like to inform you that Shaykh Abd Ar-Rafaa Ouertani, a respected member of our religious leadership team, will be taking a well-deserved sabbatical after nearly 20 years of devoted service to the ADAMS community from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

Throughout his time with ADAMS, Shaykh Abd Ar-Rafaa has offered invaluable guidance, deep scholarship, and heartfelt care to so many in our congregation. His presence has been a source of strength, and his impact will continue to be felt even as he takes this important time for rest and personal reflection. We extend our heartfelt du'as for his well-being and rejuvenation during this sabbatical.

To ensure the continuity of our religious offerings and programming, we have put in place a strong framework of support. The ADAMS Office of the Imams, under the leadership of our Resident Scholar, Imam Mohamed Magid, will continue to uphold our commitments to serving the spiritual and educational needs of our community.

We appreciate your continued involvement in ADAMS activities and your ongoing support of our leadership team. Your participation is essential to the vitality and unity of our community.
