Good Tree Institute's Camp Z, sponsored by ICC of Tempe, is a transformative summer experience that brings together teens from all backgrounds to explore faith, build real friendships, and grow in confidence and purpose. Through powerful Quran-based discussions, creative expression, outdoor adventures, and honest conversations on topics like gender, mental health, and peer pressureCamp Z is a safe space where teens can heal, lead, and connect deeply with God.
Camp Z takes place June 27July 1 in Payson, Arizona, and is an all-inclusive experience. Led by Good Tree Chairperson Dr. Nadia Katrangi, who brings over 20 years of teaching experience, Camp Z equips youth with the tools to stand strong in their values, love who they are, and build a meaningful relationship with Allah rooted in understanding and trust.

What makes Camp Z unique?
Camp Z combines learning, growth, and relationship-buildingall while having fun! Teens will explore faith and the Quran in meaningful, age-relevant ways, while also joining creative sessions like art, murals, skits, and poetry that support mental healing. Theyll build teamwork and confidence through leadership challenges and collaborative activities, connect with one another on nature hikes, in sports, and through group games that boost physical and mental wellness. Most importantly, Camp Z fosters a safe space where teens can delve into foundational topics like gender relations, mental health, God's love and mercy, prayer, confidence in faith, and social peer pressure.
