General Body Meeting tomorrow Saturday April 05, 6:30 PM
Assalamu Alaikum
MAV Annual General Body Meeting will be tomorrow Saturday April 05, 2025 at 6:30 PM. The General Body meeting is open to the public. All voting members (those who are members for at least one year) are required to attend to meet the General Body Quorum.
There will be elections for three (3) Board members. MAV Board consists of 11 Directors. The nomination process for candidates running in this election has been completed; four (4) candidates will be on the ballot for this year's election. (Three seating Directors will have completed their 1st term this year, and they are re-running in this election for a 2nd Term).
The election will be done by electronic early voting; MAV Election Committee will email each voting member with instructions on securely logging in to cast a vote. Paper ballots will be available on the General Body meeting day to those Voting members who did not vote online.
Voting Members – even if you voted online, please attend the meeting, as required by the membership agreement.
If you have not voted online, you can still vote in-person tomorrow in the meeting. Paper ballots will be available when you check in.
Respected Brothers and Sisters, please attend the meeting and help reach the quorum. So that any official MAV business and decision is made by large number of members.
