General Body Meeting
To Vote on Constitution Amendments
Assalamu Alaikum Dear ICF Members,
We hope this message finds you in the best of health and Imaan.
The Islamic Center of Frisco (ICF) will be holding a second Special General Body Meeting on Friday, June 27, 2025, immediately after Maghrib prayers, to vote on the proposed amendments to the ICF Constitution.
This meeting is being organized in accordance with ICF Constitution Articles 10 and 11, which outline the process for constitutional amendments and general body meetings.
To proceed with the vote, we must meet a quorum of 30%, which means at least 585 out of 1,950 registered members must be present.
The first Special General Body Meeting, held on June 13, 2025, ended without a vote due to insufficient attendance and failure to meet the quorum.
As per the constitution, if the second meeting also lacks quorum, the ICF Shura will vote on the proposed amendments.
The ICF Election Commission and the ICF Constitution Committee respectfully urge all members to attend and participate in this important process that will help shape the future of our community.
