General Body Meeting (GBM) - Dec 10th for ICN MEMBERS

Dear ICN Members,

Asalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

On behalf of the Board of Directors for the Islamic Center of Naperville, it is my pleasure to provide this formal notice and invite you to the ICN General Body Meeting (GBM) for the purpose of ratifying changes to our current bylaws.

The GBM will be held on Tuesday**,** December 10th, 2024, 6:00 PM at ICN Ogden (2844 W. Ogden Ave., Naperville, IL 60540)****.

At the last General Body Meeting held on November 10th, we did not meet the quorum requirements and had to adjourn the meeting. According to the ICN Bylaws, a subsequent meeting may be scheduled that does not require a quorum. All decisions made at the meeting shall be considered binding if it is approved bytwo-third majority of the voting members present. Please see reference below.

Article VII Sections 6 and 7 of the ICN Bylaws

Your active participation is required in the ratification process. Please join us at thisGBMwhere proposed changes to the bylaws will be presented for a vote.The proposed amendments cover various Sections of our Bylaws related to Governing Principles, Membership, and the Organization. Here's theto a summary of the proposed amendments to serve as a preview.The meeting will also have time for Q&A so we can clarify and address any questions you may have.

Please note that only ICN Members are eligible to vote at the GBM.
