Healthcare Workers for Palestine and ICNYU will be hosting an event where we will be joined by Dr. Mark Perlmutter, an Orthopedic and Hand Surgeon, Dr. Adam Hamawy, a Plastic Surgeon, and Dr. Feroze Sidhwa, a Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon. All three have performed medical missions in Gaza to provided necessary specialty care to a besieged territory whose healthcare infrastructure was destroyed by Israeli bombings after October 7th, 2023. Hundreds of healthcare workers have also been killed, and these three surgeons dedicated their lives to treat patients as victims of war while training healthcare workers in settings of occupation.
