Ramadan Canned Food Drive

FVAMC Academy Students

During the blessed month of Ramadan, our FVAMC Academy students came together with purpose and compassion to collect nearly 1,500 food items—an incredible achievement!

This initiative wasn’t just about gathering food—it was about instilling values: understanding the importance of charity, recognizing the blessing of food, and striving for the rewards of giving in this sacred month.

Every Sunday, our classrooms brought spirit and excitement to the drive with a friendly competition. It was a close game between Kindergarten and 5th grade, with 2nd grade coming in with a vengeance—but in the end, 5th grade came out on top, collecting the most items of all!

All donations went to support our local community through:

• Farmington Food Pantry

• Gifts of Love

• Canton Food Pantry

We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful to our families for encouraging such compassion and generosity.

The mission of FVAMC Academy is to provide students with the means to grow in their reliance on God, strengthen their relationship with him, and contribute to society by being good citizens.

Sandwich Lunch Fridays!

Now that Ramadan is over, we’re excited to restart our Friday lunches!

Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed with families contributing food to sell on Fridays, supporting our Masjid and bringing the community together.

The community has been loving the sandwiches, and they’ve been selling out fast! We’re eager to keep providing them and meeting this growing demand.

You can also sponsor a Friday, with all proceeds going to support the Masjid. It’s a simple and rewarding way for everyone to get involved and make a difference!

If you have a favorite dish you’d like would to contribute, let us know.

Your support helps us continue this effort and strengthens our community bond.

Proceeds: All proceeds will go directly to support the Masjid.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE

1.Families can sponsor a Friday lunch by signing up below. 

2.We will be ordering about 40 sandwiches for every Friday.

3.Send Payment donation of $100.00 via Mohid, (donation link below). Select the "Friday Lunch Sponsorship" category from the drop down menu. (If would like to sponsor for all sandwiches that Friday, please send payment for $200.00 and enter your name twice)
