Bismillah!
Dear beloved ADAMS Community,
It is with a full heart that I share the news of my resignation from my role at ADAMS as I prepare to enter the next chapter of my lifeboth personally and vocationally. This decision has not been easy, as serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
From the very beginning, you welcomed me and my family with warmth, trust, and love. Through your suhba (sacred companionship)bitter and sweet, praise and critiqueI have been able to learn and grow in ways I could not have on my own. These bonds are cherished, and my departure from ADAMS does not in any way lessen how deeply grateful I am for your suhba.
I am deeply thankful to the ADAMS administration for their understanding and support throughout this process. I pray that Allah rewards them for the generosity they have extended to my family and me.
Though I will no longer be serving in this official capacity, I am remaining local, and I look forward to continuing to see youin the prayer halls, in our gatherings, and in the everyday moments that make this community so special.
I humbly ask that you keep me and my family in your duas (prayers), just as you will remain in mine. May Allah bless and protect this community, increase it in light and unity, and grant us all the ability to serve Him with sincerity.
As always, if there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am at your service.
BarakAllahu feekum,
Imam Abdul-Malik Merchant
