Assalaamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
We are honored to host Imam Nasir, as a visiting imam at our masjid from Wednesday night, Feb 5th, to Sunday, Feb 9th. During his stay, he will be leading us in the daily Salat and delivering khathira after Isha and Fajr, as well as the Jumuah Khutbah and a special Family Night session.

Why is this visit important? As part of our ongoing search for a full-time Imam, we are interviewing multiple candidates to find the best fit for our community. Imam Nasir is one of the candidates, and this visit is an opportunity for us to get to know him better. We encourage everyone to come out, meet him, and engage in this important decision for the future of our masjid.
About Imam Nasir
He is an Imam, Instructor, and Khatib at various Islamic centers in the San Francisco Bay Area and the founder and lead instructor at the Prophetic Inheritance Institute.
He is a first-generation Muslim-American of Somali heritage, born and raised in the Bay Area. A Hafidh of the Quran with over 10 years of Taraweeh leadership experience, he is currently pursuing multiple degrees in Sharia, Islamic Law, and Theology while also working in Data Analyticsbringing a unique blend of traditional Islamic knowledge and modern analytical skills to his leadership.
His passion lies in Tafsir, believing it to be the greatest avenue to recognizing Allahs majesty. He is dedicated to researching and presenting timeless Islamic wisdom in a way that is both relevant and impactful for our community today.
Lets come together to welcome Imam Nasir, benefit from his knowledge, and take part in shaping the future leadership of our masjid!

Family nights are a great way to bring our community together especially for our next generation, get to know each other, while it gives an opportunity to spend our time learning on important topics.
