EPIC Ramadan Schedule Presented by Our Esteemed Scholars

Important Ramadan 1446/2025

Annonucement

We wish our EPIC community a very blessed Ramadan. May Allah allow us to take full advantage of this blessed month, make it a means of forgiveness, and attain the highest place in paradise. Ameen.

The first day of Ramadan will be Saturday, March 1st, 2025. The first night of taraweeh will be tonight, Friday February 28, 2025. As we approach the evening of the blessed month of Ramadan, our goal at EPIC is to provide our community with a safe and pleasant experience so that you and your family can enjoy and focus on the worship.

Free Baby Sitting

  1. Free babysitting is available throughout Ramadan for children ages 4–9 until 11:00 PM.
  2. Respite care is available on Fridays and Saturdays only.
  3. Children who are not under the care of babysitters must remain with their parents. Please do not leave the children alone. There are no exceptions.

Parking

  1. Please carpool and try to come early.
  2. In addition to the EPIC parking lot, we have overflow parking at the Police Academy and the strip mall across street from EPIC, with plenty of spaces available until 12:00 AM.
  3. The goal is to get you IN and OUT as fast as we can.
  4. Please do not park illegally in any of the parking lots. Illegally parked cars will be towed for safety reasons.
  5. Shuttle service will be available for transportation to-and-from the extended parking areas.

Security

  1. EPIC is a 30.06 or 30.07 facility. Which means there can be no concealed or open carry in the building.
  2. Plano Police officers and the security team will be on site throughout Ramadan. Only authorized security personnel are granted permission to carry.
  3. Suspicious bags are subjected to searches by the security team for the safety of the community.

Epic First Responders

  1. A medical team will be on site all 30 days in case of emergencies. 
  2. Physicians and prospective medical students are in charge of this team.

Zero Tolerance Policy

  1. Drugs usage
  2. Physical Fights
  3. Foul Language 
  4. Harassment 
  5. Smoking or vaping on EPIC Property
  6. Speeding on EPIC property
  7. Cameras are installed inside and outside the masjid to monitor any suspicious activity.

Masjid Timings

  1. For the first 20 days of Ramadan, the Masjid will be closed for cleaning between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
  2. Gym will be accessible after 8 rakat of taraweeh and will remain open until the ned of the taraweeh prayers.

Food Vendors

  1. Multiple food vendors will be at EPIC daily throughout Ramadan, providing a variety of food options for purchase.
  2. We request the community to join us in breaking the fast together with families and support the food vendors.
