Update on NoorOhio Building
NICC leadership wishes to thank all of our community members who joined in our efforts regarding our change of use application with the City of Hilliard for our new building (Noor Ohio, 5550 Britton Pkwy). Countless community members contributed either by signing the petition (4,426 signed in total), by signing a local business letter of support, by writing individual letters to City Council members (over 160 were sent), and by attending the City Council meeting where it was standing room only with our supporters filling the outside hall as well!
Although the City ultimately decided to ignore all of this support and voted against our proposal, rest assured that we remain undeterred. We have already begun to execute our strategy that was planned in anticipation of this and will call upon the community again for support when the time is right. For now, we ask that you remain patient and make dua for our community as always as we continue to put our trust in Allah SWT.
