Noor Academy Saturday School
looking for volunteers for the school year 2024/25.
Please send your email/resume to [email protected] and write volunteer in the subject line.
- Volunteers cannot be younger than junior or senior high schoolers
- Hours are Saturdays 10:00am to 1:30pm
- You can choose to volunteer for half a day or the full day
- Volunteers have to commit to weekly hours and arrive and leave at the agreed upon times
- Volunteers needed in following areas:
- Some to assist in classrooms (Arabic and Quran reading will be tested)
- Some to monitor and accompany kids to bathroom and at drop off and pick up times
- Some to help during lunch
- Some to help in tutoring groups
- There will be an interview and orientation for those selected
- School will provide recommendation letters if needed and a report with the hours volunteered at the end of each semester
