Dear 1010 Waqf Inc. Members,
We are pleased to announce the results of the recent election (conducted on Jan 26, 2025) for the Board of Directors of 1010 Waqf Inc. (ICCG), DBA Islamic Community Center of Gainesville (ICCG), FL.
Election Results:
General Board Members: The following four candidates were elected:
1. Mr. Ladan Jiracek
2. Dr. Mondal Zahid
3. Dr. Fatih Gordu
4. Mr. Sartaj Baban
Female Board Member: Dr. Marwa Tantawy was automatically elected, as there were no other candidates.
Student Board Members: Brother Ahmad Sami Almulla and Brother Shahid Islam were also automatically elected, as there were only two candidates for the two available positions.
We extend our gratitude to all candidates who participated in the election and to everyone who cast their votes. These individuals will play a crucial role in shaping the future of 1010 Waqf Inc. (ICCG), and we are hopeful that they will serve our community with dedication and passion.
