Celebrate Eid al-Adha with us through a week of faith, community, and joy! Here's everything you need to know:
Tomorrow: Arafat Program & Iftar Dinner
Please fast on the significant Day of Arafat tomorrow (Thursday) and then join your community for a pre-Maghrib program. Join the waitlist for Iftar.
Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year. (Sahih Muslim)

1st Prayer 7 A.M.
- Location: SRVIC Prayer Hall
- Takbeerat begins at 6:45 a.m.
- Eid Iqama: 7 a.m. (promptly)

2nd Prayer 7 A.M.
- Location: MCC East Bay Prayer Hall
- Takbeerat begins at 6:45 a.m.

3rd Prayer 9 A.M.
- Location: Rancho San Ramon Community Park
- Takbeerat begins at 8:45 a.m.

- Location: Rancho San Ramon Community Park

Important Reminders
- Please bring your own prayer rug.
- Bring a reusable water bottle. Umbrella recommended.
- Come early and carpool to reduce parking lot congestion.
- Enjoy morning of Eid with your loved ones by following the Eid sunnahs.
- Recite the takbeerat together on your way to prayers.
- Eid prayer consists of two Rakat offered in congregation and is followed by the Khutbah. Read this short guide on how to perform Eid prayer.
Eid Bus Service
Come early for limited parking at Rancho San Ramon Park. Shuttles run continuously from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. between approved overflow lot (see below) and Eid prayer venue. Please factor extra 20 minutes for overflow parking.
Approved Overflow Parking Location
- PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT BELLA VISTA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
- Please enter Dougherty Station from Bollinger entrance. Parking volunteers will direct you to the authorized parking spots.
- Please do not park in the red zone in the Deer Creek Senior Apartments or in front of the library.
- The last shuttle departs the park at 1 p.m. for the above two overflow lots.

After the two Eid prayers at Rancho, enjoy yummy food & drinks from Halal Bites, Bay Area Munchiez, Habibis Falooda & Mister Softee.

Come along on the journey in this traditional kids participatory puppet program about Hajj & Eid al-Adha! No RSVP needed.
The days of Qurbani (sacrifice) are from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, with Ayam ul Tashreeq (Days of Remembrance) starting from Fajr on Thursday, June 5 (9th of Dhul Hijjah) to Asr on Monday, June 9 (13th of Dhul Hijjah).

Logistics
Each Eid service will last about 30 minutes. The Eid prayer begins promptly at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10:30 a.m.
Please arrive early to accommodate parking. Bring your prayer mat and water bottle to the San Ramon park. Limited chairs are provided.

Please also remember that for Eid, the congregational salat is prayed to first, and then worshipers listen to the Eid sermon afterward. Please stay seated during the sermon.
