Eid Mubarak! As the blessed month of Ramadan comes to an end, we celebrate it with Eid al-Fitr to bring peace, blessings, and happiness to all. Please note SRVIC follows the saying of Ibn Umar (RA) that the Takbeerat (recitation of the Takbeer) for Eid al-Fitr is from the time of going out for the Eid prayer, on Eid Day, until the Imam sits down. However, scholars have noted that there is a difference of opinion regarding the timing of Takbeerat as some start it when the sun sets on the night of Eid. Themain focus is to celebrate together in joy and gratitude, celebrating the completion of this sacred month.
