The beginning of Shawwal has been confirmed by numerous notable and respected official religious authorities across several countries globally. Accordingly, we will be celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Inshallah, Masjid As-Siddiq will be praying the Eid-ul-Fitr Salaah on Sunday March 30th 2025. **Corrected Date**

Your entire family is invited to join us for Eid Salaah and festivities

1. We will pray the Eid-ul-Fitr Salaah at the Masjid (117-25 133rd Street).
2. In Shaa Allah, the Eid-ul-Fitr Salah will begin promptly at 8:15 am. Please arrive by 7:45 am.
3. Please make wudu at home, bring a prayer rug to sit/pray on, and a bag for your shoes.
4. Please Note: the street will be closed to vehicle traffic. Please park and walk to the Masjid.

Some reminders on the Sunnah on the day of Eid

1. Recite the Eid takbeer starting after Salaatul Fajr ("Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illAllah; Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, walillahil-hamd").
2. Eat an odd number of dates or something sweet before the Eid prayer.
3. Take a bath (ghusl) and dress in your best clothes.
