The beginning of Shawwal has been confirmed by numerous notable and respected official religious authorities across several countries globally. Accordingly, we will be celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow, Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Inshallah, Masjid As-Siddiq will be praying the Eid-ul-Fitr Salaah on Wednesday, April 10th.
Your entire family is invited to join us for Eid Salaah and festivities
- We will pray the Eid-ul-Fitr Salaah at the Masjid (117-25 133rd Street).
- In Shaa Allah, the Eid-ul-Fitr Salah will begin promptly at 8:15 am. Please arrive by 7:45 am.
- Please make wudu at home, bring a prayer rug to sit/pray on, and a bag for your shoes.
- Please Note: the street will be closed to vehicle traffic. Please park and walk to the Masjid.
Some reminders on the Sunnah on the day of Eid
- Recite the Eid takbeer starting after Salaatul Fajr ("Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illAllah; Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, walillahil-hamd").
- Eat an odd number of dates or something sweet before the Eid prayer.
- Take a bath (ghusl) and dress in your best clothes.
