The Days of Tashreeq (Ayam ul Tashreeq) begin at Fajr on Thurs., June 5 (the Day of Arafah) and continue until Asr on Mon., June 9 (13th of Dhul Hijjah)
Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year. (Sahih Muslim) 
 
It is Sunnah to recite the Takbeer Tashreeq after every fardh prayer from Fajr on the 9th Dhul Hijjah until Asr on the 13th Dhul Hijjah.

Allhu Akbar, Allhu Akbar, L ilha illallh,
Allhu Akbar, Allhu Akbar, wa lillhil amd.
(Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no god but Allah; Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and to Him belongs all praise.

  1st Prayer 7 A.M.

• Eid Iqama: 7 a.m. (promptly)

  2nd Prayer 7 A.M.

• Location: MCC East Bay Prayer Hall
• Takbeerat begins at 6:45 a.m.
• Eid Iqama: 7 a.m. (promptly) 
• Khateeb: Hafidh Afraz Khan

  

  3rd Prayer 9 A.M.

• Location: Rancho San Ramon Community Park
• Takbeerat begins at 8:45 a.m.
• Eid Iqama:  9 a.m. (promptly) 
• Khateeb: Shaykh Talal Adhab

 

  4th Prayer 10:30 A.M.

• Location: Rancho San Ramon Community Park

• Takbeerat begins at 10:15 a.m.

• Eid Iqama: 10:30 a.m. (promptly) 

• Khateeb: Sheikh Hamza Abdul-Malik

 

  Important Reminders

• Please bring your own prayer rug.
• Bring a reusable water bottle. Umbrella recommended. 
• Come early and carpool to reduce parking lot congestion.
• Recite the takbeerat together on your way to prayers.
• Eid prayer consists of two Rakat offered in congregation and is followed by the Khutbah. Read this short guide on how to perform Eid prayer. 

 

 Eid Shuttle Service

Come early for limited parking at Rancho San Ramon Park. Shuttles run continuously from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. between the approved overflow lot (see below) and the Eid prayer venue. Please factor extra 20 minutes for overflow parking.

• PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT BELLA VISTA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
• Please enter Dougherty Station from Bollinger entrance. Parking volunteers will direct you to the authorized parking spots. 
• Please do not park in the red zone in the Deer Creek Senior Apartments or in front of the library. 
• The last shuttle departs the park at 1 p.m. for the above two overflow lots.

 

  Post-Eid Food Trucks at Rancho San Ramon
 
After the two Eid prayers at Rancho, enjoy yummy food & drinks from Halal Bites, Bay Area Munchiez, Habibis Falooda & Mister Softee.
