Eid Toy Drive For Hospitalized Children With HEAL Palestine, Sudanese American Physicians Association & Khairgiver | Bring A Smile To A Child This Eid
as'salaamu alaykum,
I've visited numerous people in our community and throughout the world in the hospital over the years for various reasons. The hardest visits for me were when the patient was a child. Boys and girls of all ages and backgrounds - it's really tough to see. Just imagine what it's like to be the child who is living through it.
With Eid around the corner, the Islamic Center at NYU is excited to partner with Khairgiver on it's 10th annual Eid Toy Drive this year to bring toys to pediatric patients. In addition to gift lists for the usual 25 children's hospitals around the country that participate, this year we also have two very special gift lists for pediatric patients from Palestine that have been transferred to the U.S. for treatment by HEAL Palestine, and pediatric patients at Elbuluk Children's Hospital in Sudan through the Sudanese American Physicians' Association. Over the years, these drives have brought smiles and joy to thousands of children - let's do our part to show love to that many more this Eid inshallah.
You can make purchase toys directly via Khairgiver's Wishlists at https://www.khairgiver.com/eidtoydrive2025 or make a tax-deductible monetary contribution at https://www.khairgiver.com/donate and those funds will be used to purchase those same toys.

Khairgiver is an organization that was created to bridge urban Muslim communities to their local hospitals. There are patients and families who need support, and communities who would love to provide support -- Khairgiver's goal is to connect those who need the help with those who want to give it.
Khairgiver currently operates in New York City but works with hospitals around the country. Khairgiver's first project was an Eid Toy Drive for the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NYP in 2015. The following year, Khairgiver did its first Ramadan Drive where it catered iftar meals a few days a week for families of patients who were admitted to the hospital. Since then, both drives have grown tremendously. Khairgiver now provides suhoor and iftar meals every day during Ramadan and the annual Eid ul Adha Toy Drive has expanded to TWENTY FIVE hospitals around the country in addition to support children from Palestine and Sudan through the amazing work of HEAL Palestine and SAPA, the Sudanese American Physicians' Association!
Do give whatever you can today at https://www.khairgiver.com/eidtoydrive2025. Make a donation, buy a toy, and share the link with others. Whether it's $1, $5 ... $5000, every bit will make a difference. And please keep our sisters and brothers in your thoughts and prayers.
Barakallahu feekum - may Allah bless you and your loved ones always and give to you only the best in this world and the best in the next. Ameen.
