Important Guidelines:
Shoes: Please ensure you have a bag for your shoes and keep them with you during prayer to avoid misplacement.
Prayer Halls: Please vacate your space before the next prayer so that others can easily join their salah inshallah. Once the main prayer halls fill up, please respect the volunteers and navigate to an overflow area including Khadijah Banquet Hall, Maryam Banquet Hall, and the turf. Please do not block any doorways or exit paths at anytime.
Board Updates: Please Thank and Respect Staff & Volunteers
In this Blessed Month and beyond, please treat our volunteers, staff, and safety & security teams with the utmost respect. They serve our community for the sake of Allah, and their efforts deserve appreciation.
Unfortunately, we continue to face challenges. Some community members are disregarding safety rules, driving recklessly, parking illegally, trashing parking areas, blocking driveways, and even disrespecting security staff. This behavior goes against the values of our faith. Respecting the masjid means respecting its rules, those who serve it, and the broader community. Let us strive to embody the values of kindness, patience, and discipline that Islam teaches us, ensuring that our actions reflect the spirit of Ramadan.
The Prophet (saw) said, Allah is kind and He loves kindness in all matters. (Al-Bukhari).
If you have concerns, communicate calmly and respectfully. Patience, proper etiquette, and following rules help maintain a welcoming environment. To escalate an issue, contact [email protected] or submit feedback at mcabayarea.org/Ramadan.
Reminder: Lost children can be found in the shared lobby (weekend school seating area). Please find lost items there as well.
See the Impact of Your Zakat!
With $1.1M distributed, we've supported refugees, helped families in crisis, provided food, covered rent, and assisted those with terminal illnesses. 920 recipients have benefited_thanks to YOU!_ Please continue to give generously and help families locally, ensuring they are safe, healthy, and taken care of.
Remember, zakah means that which purifies. By giving money to charity, we cleanse our wealth.
Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 103: Take from their wealth O Prophet charity to purify and bless them and pray for themsurely your prayer is a source of comfort for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing [9: 103]
