Eid Mubarak l Eid Salah Timing Announcement l Sunnahs of Eid al-Fitr
Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
We welcomed Ramadan and are now bidding it farewell and before we know it, we will be welcoming Ramadan again. This blessed month was an opportunity for goodness, barakah and worship towards Allah and I pray that Allah allows us to end Ramadan with our sins forgiven and our righteous deeds accepted.
As we prepare to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, I ask you to continue on your upward journey of improving yourself and seeking the mercy of Allah.
For those of us that lost loved ones during this blessed month, may Allah forgive your departed and grant you comfort and peace. And let us make dua for our brothers and sisters who are suffering, whether due to illness, poverty, or oppression. May Allah ease their difficulty, grant them relief, and bring them peace and prosperity.
Please cherish this time with your family and keep everyone, including Al Falah Center, in your duas.

✨ Sunnahs of Eid al-Fitr: A Blessed Reminder ✨
As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us revive the beautiful traditions of our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) to maximize our blessings:
✅ Purify & Beautify
-
Take a refreshing bath (ghusl) in the morning.
-
Wear your finest clothes and apply perfume (for men).
✅ Sweet Beginnings
-
Eat something sweet (preferably dates in odd numbers) before heading to prayer.
-
The Prophet (ﷺ) would not leave for Eid until he had eaten dates. (Bukhari)
✅ Takbeer & Gratitude
- Recite "Allahu Akbar" from morning until the Eid prayer begins.
✅ Prayer & Unity
- Attend the Eid prayer and bring your entire family—including children, women, and elders.
- Even menstruating women were encouraged to join the gathering (though not the prayer itself). (Bukhari, Muslim)
- Those without proper clothes were advised to borrow from others to attend. (Tirmidhi)
