Volunteer staff may direct you to park in certain areas. Please show them courtesy, as they are volunteering their time to help ease the flow of traffic and to help you avoid the inconvenience of a towed vehicle. We appreciate your patience and cooperation!
Driving Slowly
Please remember to drive slowly through Ivory Hills, the neighboring subdivision, as well
as on campus. Please also be courteous to our neighbors and let them turn into their driveways or exit, as our individual actions reflect upon our community and religion.
NOTICE:
Please note that each prayer has its own parking pass. Please make a note of the expiration time of your parking pass and try to adhere to the time window for the prayer for which you have purchased a pass.
Message from the Imam
Dear and Beloved ICGC Community,
AA
I would like to congratulate our beloved community on the start of the sacred month of Zul-Hijjah and the upcoming blessed Eid-ul-Adha.
First day of Zul-Hijjah
Insha'Allah the first day of Zul-Hijjah is going to be Wednesday May 28, 2025.
The Day of Arafah (the ninth of Zul-Hijjah), will be Thursday, the 5th of June, 2025 Insha'Allah.
Eid-Al-Adha will be on Friday, the 6th of June, 2025, In shaa Allah.
Some virtues of these most blessed days are:
Prophet Muhammad pbbuh said: "There are no days, in which, the righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah SWT then these ten days (the first ten days of Zul Hijjah).". (Reported by Imam Bukhari, Abu Dawood, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah and others).
Our Prophet pbbuh used to fast first nine days of it (as reported by his wives Hafsah, and Juwairiyyah RA: "Four things, Prophet peace be upon him, never missed in his life:
1- Fasting on Aashura (tenth of Muharram)
2- Fasting of the ten days of Zul-Hijjah
3- Fasting the 3 days of each month (each lunar month: 13th, 14th and 15th)
4- And performing the two Raka'at before Fajr Fardh (Sunah of Fajr).
Reported by Imam Ahmed and Nasaai.
- The Prophet pbbuh said that fasting the 9th day of Zul-Hijjah (The Day of Arafah), Allah SWT forgives the sins of two years, the previous as well as the coming year. (Sahih Muslim, Abu Dawood, Nasaai, Ibn Majah..)
Some Sonan(Prophetic Traditions) to observe on these blessed ten days days:
- Making lots of Zikr(remembrance of Allah SWT). This includes reading Holy Quran, saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbrar etc.
- Say the BEST D'uaa!
The Prophet pbbuh said: The best, duaa, that has ever been said by me and all Prophets before me is:
لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد يحيي ويميت بيده الخير وهو على كل شئ قدير.
- Saying Takbiraat out loud, which will start from the Fajr of the day of Arafah, until all the Hujjaj leave Mina (Asr of 13th Zul Hijjah).
- Fasting the nine days of it, especially 9th of Zul Hijjah.
- Sacrificing for the sake of ALLAH, a goat/ sheep/ ram, on behalf of all family members living under one roof. Seven persons/households can share in a cow or a camel.
- Days of sacrifice are: Starting after Eid prayer, 10, 11 and 12 of Zul-Hijjah until the Maghrib of 12th.
- Give Sadaqah generously, help the poor and those in need.
May Allah SWT accept our worship and good deeds! May Allah SWT protect our loved ones, heal our sick, forgive our dead, unite our Ummah, and bless our beloved community and Muslims all over the world!
May Allah guide us to perform many righteous good deeds, especially during these precious most blessed days!
