Eid Al-Adha Announcement

Dear Community Members,

As-salamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We will be celebrating Eid al-Adha together on Friday, June 6th, 2025. 

Eid Prayer Details:

Venue: Morgantown Marriott Event Center
      Address: Two Waterfront Place, Morgantown, WV 26501
Takbeerat: 8:30 AM

Eid Prayer: 9:00 AM sharp

Parking is free at the Marriott Garage (around the back of the hotel).
An Event Drop-Off area is available at the Platinum Ballroom roadside entrance, where guests can be dropped off before parking (see image below). Additional parking can also be found at the WVU Parking Garage at a fee.

 

Important Reminders:

Hotel Policy:

The hotel does not allow outside food or drinks, so we kindly ask everyone to follow this rule. This venue is the only indoor space large enough to accommodate our community, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Khutba Etiquettes:
 

If you do not wish to attend the khutbah after the prayer, please quietly exit the room. Do not chat in the prayer area as this disturbs other attendees.

Please make sure to maintain silence during the prayer and the khutbah.

Please make sure that your kids stay with you during the prayer and stay quiet throughout the khutba as well.

Please bring your prayer rugs.

Please help the volunteers in cleanup. We would very much appreciate if everyone can help us clean up afterwards.
