NOMINATIONS FOR EPIC BOD ELECTION 2024 

This is a reminder that the nomination submission deadline for EPIC BOD Elections is tomorrow, Thursday Jan 4, 2024 at 9:00 pm CST.

Click here to download a soft copy of the Nomination Form which is available on the EPIC website. You can also get a hard copy of the nomination Form from the EPIC Admin office.

Please be mindful of the EPIC Constitutional requirements for the Nominators and the Nominees. As per the EPIC Constitution only a person who has been an EPIC member for the last six months is eligible to nominate someone for the BOD elections. The EPIC Constitution also requires the nominee (prospective candidate) for the BOD election to be an EPIC member for the last one year and be an active member of one of the EPIC committees. Kindly look at the detailed eligibility requirements on the Nomination Form and in the EPIC Constitution

Please note that any eligible EPIC member may nominate multiple candidates for elections for the Board of Directors. The Nomination Form provides for multiple spaces to allow for multiple nominations. The total maximum number of nominations allowed is seven (7) per nominator, representing the seven (7) BOD positions. Also, please be advised that for the nominee to be placed on the ballot he/she must receive at least Two (2) nominations. The EPIC Election Committee will verify the nominator's membership status.

The EPIC Election Committee will verify whether the prospective nominee accepts or declines the nomination. All nominees accepting a nomination and agreeing to be placed on the election ballot shall be subject to a mandatory criminal and financial background check. Failing to comply with the background check and/or providing necessary information to complete the background check will result in an immediate disqualification and termination of the nomination for that nominee/candidate for the BOD.

Completed and signed forms (must include EPIC Member ID which can be obtained from the EPIC Admin Office) can be placed in the Election Nomination Box located in the EPIC Admin Office no later than Thursday Jan 4, 2024 at 9:00 pm Central time.
