Important Announcement

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Dear Epic Community,

The EPIC election commission announced the final list of Nine(9) candidates for the EPIC BOD elections on Jan 20, 2024. Two of the candidates from the list have since withdrawn their nomination due to their own personal reasons. As a result, there are only 7 candidates left.

According to the EPIC constitution Article-VII U(6) and confirmation by the EPIC attorney, there should be at least 7 candidates to form the new BOD. Since we have only 7 candidates, those 7 candidates will fill the 7 BOD positions. As a result, we will not be conducting any balloting or voting in an election.

The seven (7) candidates below are EPIC’s new BOD. They are as follows:

1. Abdullah Shegow

2. Fazal Saiyed

3. Jawaid Isa

4. Kashif Saeed

5. Mahbub Rahman

6. Nadeem Aslam

7. Naveed Siddiqui

All the next steps related to voting and elections are thus canceled including the candidates meet and greet.

According to the constitution Article VIII(C), the term for the new BOD shall begin on the Sunday Feb 18, 2024.

The election commission will dissolve in 7 days after announcing the new BOD.
