Asalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Dear brothers and sisters,
We kindly request your heartfelt duas for Br. Kevin Appleton, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was discharged to hospice last night.
Br. Kevin is the father of Br. Khalil Appleton, who joined Dar-us-Salaam in May 2025, but had to move to Illinois earlier this month to be with his family during this time.
We ask Allah ﷻ to grant him a complete and speedy recovery, ease his pain, and May He make this trial a means of purification and elevation in this life and the next.
May Allah ﷻ grant patience and strength to his family during this time. Please keep them in your duas.
اللّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِهِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لا شِفَاءَ إِلا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
