The Islamic Shariah Council of Northern California, "Central Hilal Committee" (www.HilalCommittee.org) had declared that the Hilal (moon) had been sighted. Therefore, the first day of Dhul Hijjah is tomorrow, May 28th, 2025

Below are some important reminders and dates regarding these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah and Eid al-Adha.

Important Dates

  • Day of Arafah: Thursday, June 5th, 2025

  • Eid Al Adha: Friday, June 6th, 2025

  • Days of Qurbani (Sacrifice): From Friday, June 6th, 2025 to  Sunday, June 8th, 2025

  • Ayam ul Tashreeq (Days of Remembrance): From Fajr of Thursday, June 5th, 2025 (9th of Dhul Hijjah) to Asr of Monday, June 9th, 2025 (13th of Dhul Hijjah).
