Our community shows up best when we all come together for the sake of Allah.

Dar-us-Salaam is hosting a Community Clothes Drive THIS Saturday, July 27 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM onsite by the sisters’ entrance. There will be a canopy clearly marked for the drop off.

• Please wash your clothes before donating.

• Do not include clothes with holes or stains.

• Separate the donations by gender.

The clothes will be given away during Ansaar-ul-Birr’s upcoming event Taste of Greenbelt on Saturday, August 3rd. More details in the flyer below!

This weekend we are also collaborating with Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) to collect supplies for Palestinian Refugees in Jordan. The deadline to collect these items is this Sunday, July 28th by 8 PM. Please see flyer below for more details on the items we are accepting.👇

Dar-us-Salaam is pleased to announce that we will be partnering with Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) to collect supplies for Palestinian Refugees in Jordan.

The Palestine Donation Drive is currently ongoing and will be running until Sunday, July 28 in shaa Allah. We are accepting the following items:

• Black Tea

• 2lb bag of sugar*

• 2lb bag of rice*

• Spaghetti/Pasta

• Diapers in all sizes (adult and children)

*Note: HHRD has requested bags to be no bigger than 2lb for easy distribution. Also we will NOT be accepting clothes this time.

Simply drop off your items onsite at Dar-us-Salaam in the bins located by the main entrance between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. You can also mail in your items if you prefer.

Ansaar-ul-Birr and Helpers to Good are happy to announce our upcoming community event Taste of Greenbelt on Saturday, August 3rd from 2-6 PM in collaboration with the City of Greenbelt. Join us to sample foods from all around the world!

The event will include the following:

• Free food samples

• County resources

• Used clothes giveaway

• Free face painting & Henna tattoos (for children under 10 years)

Join DUS Youth’s Qur’an Study program Ash-Shifaa, held in the Dar-us-Salaam Musallah every Friday at 7 PM as they discuss gems from the Qur’an. Open to all Youth aged 13+
