Assalamu Alaikum,
Ramadan is only 30 days away! As we get closer to the blessed month and the anticipation starts to grow, its time to start preparing. Here are a few tips to help you get ready for this holy month:
- Spiritual Reflection: Begin by setting personal goals for your spiritual growth. Whether it's increasing prayers, reading more Quran or engaging in regular dhikr. Set achievable goals for yourself and how you can further your connection with Allah (SWT) InshaAllah.
- Physical Preparation: Fasting can be physically demanding, so it's a good idea to start adjusting your diet and sleep schedule. Maybe try to reduce your intake of caffeine and eat balanced, nutritious meals that release energy slowly.
- Family and Community: Involve your family in Ramadan preparations, and plan how together, you can engage with the community during this time. This could involve planning meals together or participating in community iftars.
Ramadan is not just a month of fasting; it's a time of unity, reflection, and giving. As always, we're committed to serving you, our community, during Ramadan.
If you would like to start your giving early, we invite you to contribute to DAHs Iftar program. Last year, with your incredible support, we provided over 40,000 meals and this year, were aiming even higher InshaAllah!
You can also give your Fidya/Kaffara with DAH and ensure that, InshaAllah, your missed fasts become a source of rewards for you.
We are deeply grateful for your continued generosity and support. May Allah (SWT) bless you and your loved ones with a successful Ramadan InshaAllah.
Jazakullah Khairan!
