Religious Affairs
The Department of Religious Affairs of Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center embarked on new initiatives to empower the Dar Al-Hijrah Community in addition to creating a feedback system to improve on current services and provide an avenue for offering additional ones. The initiatives focused on transparency, consistency, cohesion, and streamlining processes. Some of our signature events and services included well-attended Fiqh and Tazkiyah classes, spiritual counseling, daily reminders, and fatwa services.

Need Dental Services?
The DAH Social Services Office is now a referring agency to the Northern VA Dental Clinic!
NVDC has six state-of-the-art dental suites and can provide extensive services including emergency interventions, tissue biopsies, root canals, dentures, crowns, and bridges.
Eligibility requirements apply.

YOUTH CORNER
RISING
SOULS
A mentorship program for youths ages 10 to 13 takes place every Friday at 8PM-10PM in the Youth Lounge. Students are placed in groups with two mentors per group. The semester consists of weekly lessons, mentor time, outings, mandatory service projects, and a graduation ceremony.

Our vision is to create a safe haven where young Muslims can unpack lifes complexities, cultivate a strong sense of identity, and emerge as empowered individuals ready to face the world with confidence and compassion.
NEIGHBORNET
Saturday nights after Isha YM and DAH YOUTH join forces to provide social and athletic activities for boys ages 14 on up. Come through Saturday nights after Isha.
FAST & LEARN
A weekly program to connect the youth to the masjid. The program combines spiritual connection through fasting, bonding with fellow youth by breaking their fast together and inspiring the youth to speak their mind freely while pursuing knowledge and a fundamental understanding of their faith.
