RAMADAN PROGRAMMING
CVIC TARAWEEH CHILDCARE POLICY
Dear CVIC Community, As we prepare to welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, the CVIC Executive and Board are pleased to announce that, InshaAllah, we will be offering a *FREE *childcare program during Taraweeh prayers throughout the month. This initiative is intended to foster a peaceful and spiritually enriching environment for all worshippers.
CVIC Childcare Policy:
To uphold the sanctity of our worship space and ensure a structured, respectful environment, the following guidelines will be in effect:
Children ages 8-10 are encouraged to pray Taraweeh in the Musallah under the supervision of their parents. They must remain silent and engaged in prayer throughout the duration of Taraweeh.
Children who choose not to pray Taraweeh must proceed directly to the *designated childcare area*, where they will engage in supervised activities. Under *no circumstances* will children be permitted to roam the hallways or remain unsupervised, as this disrupts the prayer environment. Hall patrol officers will be present to ensure adherence to this policy.
*All* children between the ages of 2-10 attending Taraweeh must be *SIGNED UP *for the childcare program. This measure ensures adequate supervision and facilitates a structured environment that allows all attendees to participate in worship without distractions.
Children aged 11 and older are expected to pray Taraweeh. In the event they do not, they must remain with their parents at *all times* and maintain a peaceful and spiritually enriching presence in the Musallah. We respectfully remind parents that this age group can also be disruptive, so we ask for your cooperation in ensuring they uphold the peaceful atmosphere of the mosque. *Theyre not permitted* to roam the hallways or engage in any disruptive behavior.
We kindly request the full cooperation of all parents and guardians in adhering to these guidelines. Your support is essential in maintaining a serene and respectful atmosphere for all worshippers.
