Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh,
EID-AL ADHA MUBARAK
The new moon of Zul Hijjah 1445/2024 has been sighted. --Eid will be celebrated on Sunday June 16, 2024
CVIC executive committee, BOT and volunteers wish everyone and their families EIB MUBARAK .
The Eid prayer and parking arrangements with be the same as last Eid.
**Eid Prayer** will be held at the CVIC 8:00am takbeer. 8:30 am sharp will be Eid prayer Iqama.
If you come early ( any time before 8 am) you will, inshallah , find parking at CVIC. Parking will be ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASES. Once the parking is full we will ask that you drop your family at the masjid and park your car at Signature of Solon club house parking .
Shuttles from Signature of Solon to masjid will start at 7:15 am and continue until 12 pm .
As usual food, tea, ice cream and children games will be outside in the masjid parking lot.
As we are expecting a large number of people to attend, we kindly ask THAT YOU BRING YOUR PRAYER RUG in case you have to pray outside to the space limitation .
MEMBERSHIP UPDATES
CVIC Executive Committee has approved, during its June meeting, a ONE TIME waiver:
1- General Members ( new members ) who have gained membership and have paid dues up until JUNE ,30th, 2024, to be considered eligible for voting at the biannual CVIC Elections due this December.
2- Active Members, who have gained membership in prior 3 years to be considered eligible for voting in the CVIC biannual elections due this December, provided they have paid their 2024 dues LATEST BY JUNE 30, 2024.
CVIC Executive Committee always accommodates for any member who wishes to apply for a consideration for hardship towards annual dues. Please reach out to any EC member if you so need.
CVICs Annual Memebrship Dues: $50 for individual. $100 for family ( including children below 18 years). CVIC is strong only with commitment from its members, and the democratic process always strengthened with increase in membership numbers. Please, renew your membership by JUNE 30th, 2024.
