Join us for Seniors Coffee Chat at IAR. We are planning a fun event with group activities and games. Meet your local IAR Seniors and learn how you can get involved in the Older Adult Committee. Bring your favorite game to share with others. Refreshments will be provided.
Looking for a space to connect with fellow sisters and build community rooted in love and compassion? The IAR Health and Wellness team is proud to bring you Sakeenah Sisters, a free monthly support group for women ages 25-40. The groups will be facilitated by licensed Muslim therapists and will include much needed discussions on various topics we all struggle with. Our next event will be on October 14th at 6:15pm, where we will discuss Mental Health: Overcoming the Stigma. Event includes refreshments and chai. Registration is required.
Sunday School for Children with Exceptionalities takes place every Sunday from 10am - 11:30am at IAR. Classes are designed to facilitate learning of Arabic Letters and Islamic Studies. We also have monthly art activities with Artist Ummah! Pizza Lunch is provided. Ages 8+. To register, email [email protected].
The Sports and Recreation and Youth Committees are happy to announce the Fall 2024 Girls Basketball League
Girls will dribble, pass, and shoot, building teamwork and battling it out on the court!

The Sports and Recreation Committee is seeking volunteers to join and become a part of providing sports, fitness and recreation activities, programs and events to sisters in the community. All sisters interested must be at least 18 years of age. Fill out the form below. The first volunteer opportunity is the Fall Girls Basketball League starting in October.
