Mabrook and Congratulations to Imam Anwer on 3 Years with Nueces Mosque!

We are deeply grateful to have had Imam Anwer as a part of our Nueces family for the past three years. His unwavering dedication, hard work, and service to our students and community members have greatly benefited Nueces, allowing us to grow and achieve many of our goals as a community.

In the past three years, through Imam Anwer's leadership as our Imam and Director of Religious Affairs, Nueces Mosque has flourished. Imam Anwer founded the Nueces Seminary, which has served over 100 students. He personally provided more than 900 hours of pastoral counseling through his weekly office hours, mentored and advised 6 cohorts of Nueces EC student leaders, facilitated dozens of shahadas, and emerged as a scholarly pillar within the Muslim community. His efforts in advancing interfaith work across Austin have also been invaluable.

As we look ahead, we are excited for the many more accomplishments yet to come, InshaAllah. We pray that Allah (swt) continues to bless Imam Anwer and his family for their service and sacrifices, and rewards him abundantly for his dedication to our community.
