Aisha Islam at her Hifzh Graduation!
Asalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing our students honored with finishing their Hifzh and becoming bearers of the Qur’an, other than knowing that they finished that journey alongside their best friend! ✨💙
That’s what happened with our most recent graduates Aisha Islam and Arwaa Weathersby, who have both been at our full-time Dar-us-Salaam Hifzh School for about 3 and a half years.
Having joined only a few months from each other, Aisha and Arwaa have successfully finished memorizing the Book of Allah while building a blossoming and budding friendship and sisterhood with each other, as well as their fellow classmates.
Last Friday, October 25th, Aisha Islam celebrated her memorization of the Qur’an. She talked about her journey with the Qur’an and how she was inspired by her older brother Raiyan who graduated earlier this year from Hifzh School (133rd grad).
This Friday, November 1st it was Arwaa Weathersby’s turn!
This exciting news makes Aisha and Arwaa our 138th and 139th Hifzh graduates at Dar-us-Salaam respectively, Allahu Akbar! 🎉
Congratulations to Aisha Islam and her parents Mira Zannath and Faisal Islam, and to Arwaa Weathersby and her parents Fawzia Awad and Scott Weathersby, and their families on such an amazing accomplishment. May Allah continue to allow the light of the Quran to illuminate your lives. ✨
