We are excited to announce the ISB Open Mosque Day is back this Month ! The event will take place on:
Saturday, OCT 19th,at ISBCC Roxbury 11-3pm
Sunday, OCT 20th at ISB Cambridge 11-3pm
We invite all of our non Muslim friends and neighbors to join us for this special event to learn more about Islam and our beautiful mosque, and experience the warmth and hospitality of ISB &ISBCC. There will be guided tours of the mosque, informative presentations about Islam, Henna, kids activities and a chance to meet members of our community and ask any questions you may have.
Th event is FREE and open to the Public. Please feel free to share this event with your friends and family, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Light refreshments will be served!

Please join us Saturday *October 19th* , 2024 to help us deliver groceries for families in need. This month we will delivering over 90 families.
The drive will be in the ISBCC basement (100 Malcolm X Blvd, Boston, MA 02120).
We will begin packing the food boxes at 11 AM and start deliveries at 1 PM, insha Allah.

Bridges to the Future - Sunday, October 20th. An afternoon dedicated to high school students wanting to learn about the college process. Ages 13-18 years old.
College Fair 2pm-3:30pm: A college fair for prospective Muslim Students going to college, high school students, and their parents! The event is a drop-in fair format in which Muslim College Students from each college will be at a table in the lobby with resources and to answer your questions. In addition, we will be holding a college application review in a separate room for those students who would like a current college student to give them advice or review their college application materials such as college essay, common app, or more! So please have students interested bring their college application materials that they would like to review with a current college student tomorrow, if they are interested! We will be posting confirmed colleges soon.
The College Prep Workshop 3:30pm-5:00pm: Learn about composing college essays, entering FAFSA/other finance related info, how to shortlist colleges, extracurricular activities list, recommendations, and more! This session is led by Br. Salman Khan, Founder and Director of Hidayah Services to help you navigate and to learn more about this process. He has worked as a College Counselor at two schools, an Admissions Reader at Stanford University for over five years, has conducted over 75 workshops on a broad range of college-related topics, and has worked with numerous schools to develop their college counseling programs. He earned a BA from Rutgers University, a College Counseling Certificate through UCLA Extension, an MA from Stanford University, and is currently a PhD Student at Harvard University studying Education. Please bring your questions about the applications you are getting ready for and feel free to bring your college application materials with you so you can get feedback during the Q&A session.
