Dar-us-Salaam is pleased to announce that we will be partnering again with Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) to collect clothes for Palestinian Refugees in Jordan. 

The Clothing Drive is happening this weekend: Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1st from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*Note: This is a clothing only drive, NO household items, books, toys or shoes.*

• Drop off your clothes onsite at Dar-us-Salaam under the canopy located by the Sisters/Preschool entrance.

• Please separate your donated clothes by gender: Men, Women, girls, and boys.

• Earn the maximum reward for your donation by washing the clothes before dropping them off.

Ansaar-ul-Birr has set up a new mini food pantry across from the 7-eleven on Edgewood Road in College Park, Maryland!

The pantry is free and open 24/7. Anyone in need is welcome to take what they need. Feel free to drop off non-perishable food items (dry and packaged foods) to keep the pantry stocked! Since space is limited, please keep in mind that large items may not fit. Please don’t leave any expired items in the pantry. Jazakum Allahu Khairan!
