Urgent Community Request: Opt for 2nd Jummah to Ease Parking Strain
Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear Respected Community Members,
In light of recent challenges regarding parking during our Jummah services, we are reaching out to seek your cooperation and understanding to address this issue collectively.
Our community is fortunate to have two Jummah services, and we kindly request those who have the flexibility to consider attending the 2nd Jummah at 2:30 pm. By doing so, we can significantly alleviate the parking strain experienced during the 1st Jummah at 1:30 pm.
In Surah Al-Hujurat(49:10), Allah reminds us: "The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy." Choosing the 2nd Jummah to ease congestion during the 1st Jummah is an act of brotherhood and unity.
We understand the importance of attending Jummah prayers, and your dedication to fulfilling this obligation is commendable. By spreading attendance across both services, we can create a more harmonious environment for our entire community and neighbors.
Your cooperation is invaluable in fostering a positive atmosphere within our community. We appreciate your commitment to the principles of Islam and trust that, together, we can make a positive impact on our collective experience.
JazakAllah Khair for your understanding and cooperation.
Urgent Community Message: Addressing Jummah Parking Concerns
Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear Respected Community Members,
It has come to our attention that collectively, we have fallen short in displaying good character to our neighbors, particularly concerning the parking situation during Jummah prayers. The parking issue has escalated, causing inconvenience to our neighbors and, more importantly, reflecting poorly on our community.
We want to ask every one of you to take immediate action to fix this problem. Carpooling is highly encouraged, and arriving early to secure a parking space at the masjid is crucial. Additionally, if the masjid parking is full, please legally park on side streets and be prepared to walk the necessary distance to the masjid.
Blocking people from leaving their homes and parking in spaces designated for businesses, schools, churches, and recreation centers is unacceptable. It violates the law and goes against the principles of good character that are fundamental to our Islamic faith.
Remember, our neighbors have rights, and respecting those rights is integral to being a good Muslim. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of good character and treating neighbors with kindness. Let us uphold these teachings and be considerate of those around us.
Furthermore, breaking the law by illegal parking can result in your car being towed and substantial fines. Let us correct our actions and set a good example for others in our community.
We appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and hope that, as responsible community members, we can improve the situation.
JazakAllah Khair for your understanding and cooperation.
