GREEN MASJID INITIATIVE

CVIC was among the first to join the Green Masjid Initiative launched in 2022 by the Art & Wilderness Institute. The Green Masjid Initiative aims to support more sustainable and responsible practices in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.

ALLAH SWT says: Corruption has appeared in the land and sea for what mankinds hands have earned, that He may make them taste some (part) of it which they have done, in order that they may return. (Surah Luqman, Verse 41)

Taking care of the environment is an important part of our deen.
