Jumah Time changes due to Daylight Savings Time changes - starts Friday November 8

Starting Friday November 8th, Jumah Prayer time will be changing to accommodate for Daylight Savings time change.

New Timings will be as follows:

First Jumah:
Khutbah: 12:15 pm
Salat: 12:45 pm

Second Jumah:
Khutbah: 1:15 pm
Salat: 1:45 pm

Please share with others who come to the Masjid and may not be in this group.

Dr Mustafa Khattab - Translator of Clear Quran - Friday, November 8th at ETCIC

ETCIC is honored to welcome Dr. Mustafa Khattab to the ETCIC Masjid on Friday November 8th, in shaa Allah. He will deliver the Friday Khutbah and lead an evening discussion on lessons for the youth from the Quran. The Friday evening program is open to the entire family and will begin right after Isha Prayer (around 7 pm).

The event will be held at ETCIC 12585 Hudson Rd S Afton MN 55001. Please help spread the word.

Short Bio of Dr Mustafa Khattab
Dr. Mustafa Khattab is a published author, public speaker, Fulbright interfaith scholar, and member of the Canadian Council of Imams. He received his Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Islamic Studies in English with Honours from Al-Azhar Universitys Faculty of Languages & Translation. Dr. Khattab was a member of the first team that translated the Ramaan night prayers (Tarawi) live from the Sacred Mosque in Makkah and the Prophets Mosque in Madinah. He is the translator of The Clear Quran (2015), the author of The Clear Quran Tafsir for Kids (4 volumes, 2019-2023), The Clear Quran Dictionary (2020), The Clear Quran Made Easy: Story-Based Tafsir (2023), and The Clear Sirah for Kids: 365 Days with the Prophet .

The Girls Youth Group is excited to introduce our new podcast series, Her Voice Her Journey!
 
In our first episode, we will feature some of our communitys lovely revert sisters who are eager to share their inspiring stories with you. We hope their experiences will strengthen your own imaan.
